Mark is a 36 year veteran of the fire service currently serving the City of New London Fire Department. He also serves as the program planner for the fire officer courses offered through the Connecticut Fire Academy. He has served for 12 years as a Lieutenant , 6 years as a Battalion Chief and is currently serving as the Deputy Fire Chief. This course was developed specifically to address the lack of preparatory courses for company and chief fire officers when dealing with today’s challenges. The course is discussion based and will also focus on group activities and problem solving. The course will conclude with providing various case studies that outline the steps utilized to solve the challenges endured.
